Lisa and Jonathon’s Wedding

Lisa and Jonathon’s outdoor wedding at Silverwood Resort near Perth couldn’t have been more perfect, even if the forecast said otherwise. The week leading up to it was filled with rain and grey skies, but the day itself arrived with calm air and warm light, as if the weather had changed its mind just for them.

They held their ceremony beside the lake, with wide open views and space to breathe. The whole day had a relaxed, easy rhythm, from their quiet moments together to the ceilidh later that night where the dance floor was packed with joy (and a few flying kilts).

Their dog Fin didn’t attend the ceremony, but joined us later for some portraits, tail wagging, full of energy, and absolutely stealing the show.

What stood out most, though, wasn’t the view or the sunshine. It was the way Lisa and Jonathon looked at each other: calm, steady, completely present. The kind of love that doesn’t need to shout to be heard.

It was a joy to photograph a day that felt so real and right from start to finish.
