Rothbury Wedding – Hannah and Jake

Hannah and Jake’s wedding was rooted in family, full of genuine warmth from start to finish.

The day began on a Northumberland family farm, where Hannah got ready surrounded by laughter, quiet tears, and the kind of love that fills a room without trying. From there, we headed to a church in Rothbury, where Jake’s grandfather led the ceremony. It made the whole celebration feel personal, grounded, and deeply connected.

After the vows, we took a short drive to another family farm with a ruined castle in the garden. It was a magical backdrop for wedding photos that felt honest and effortless. Capturing these quiet moments between Hannah and Jake was a true joy.

Back in Rothbury, the speeches and a lively ceilidh brought everyone together in joyful celebration. Their first dance was Strip the Willow.

Weddings like this are a dream to photograph. Not because they’re perfect, but because they’re real. Every moment reflected Hannah and Jake’s unique love story, and I was honoured to be their wedding photographer.
