No sign-up, nothing to install. Everything you do here is saved as you go. Follow these steps in order the first time through; after that, jump to whichever one you need.
In the Tables box, choose how many seats a table needs and click + Add table. Repeat for every table you'll have: a head table, a top table, guest tables, however many you need.
Each table can be renamed and resized any time: type directly into its name field, or change the seat count if a table turns out bigger or smaller than planned.
Every table shows up as a circle of seats like this one, ready for guests.
Paste or type names into the Guest list box, one name per line, then click + Add to list. They'll appear as chips in the Unseated pool below, ready to drag.
Got a family or couple who must stay as one unit? Click Group guests, tick everyone who belongs together, give the group a name, and it becomes a single card you can drag as one, instead of placing four people one at a time.
Drag a guest chip, or a group card, from the pool onto an empty seat, or anywhere on a table, to seat them there. Drag a seated guest onto a different seat to move them, or back onto the pool to unseat them.
While you're dragging a group, tables light up to show you where it fits: a glow means there's enough room for everyone in the group, a dimmed table means there isn't.
Once everyone in a group has a seat, its card ticks green and drops down into a Seated groups section, so whatever's left at the top of the list is always what still needs your attention.
Click Save plan at any point to download everything
(tables, guests, groups, seating) as a file named after your
event, like Our Wedding table plan.json. Keep that file
anywhere: your computer, a cloud drive, emailed to yourself.
To pick up where you left off, even on a different device or browser, click Load plan and choose that file. It replaces whatever's currently on screen, so save first if you want to keep both.
Click Preview seating list for a clean, printable page, and choose whether it's grouped by table or sorted alphabetically by guest name. From there you've got two options:
Set up tables, add names, group who needs grouping, drag everyone into place, save as you go, print when you're done. Come back any time. It'll be exactly as you left it.
