“A thing that you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people.”
Annie Leibovitz
Glasgow Wedding Photographer
Hey there, I’m Steven.
My days are usually filled with chasing after my spirited two-year-old daughter and our playful Bordoodles - Beau and Meg. When I do manage to have a moment to myself, I usually find myself dropping on Fortnite with my wife or playing keyboards at church.
Creativity has always been a part of me. My mum was musical, and my dad used to lend me his canon camera SLR (without the film!), but it was when I received my first DSLR that everything truly changed. A friend of a friend asked me to photograph their wedding, and from that moment on, I knew that this was my true calling.
My Approach to Wedding Photography
Weddings aren’t about standing in front of a camera for hours, posing awkwardly. They’re about celebrating with the people you love, and that’s why my style is relaxed, candid, and couple-led. I won’t take you away from the festivities for extended periods or make you pose in unnatural ways. Instead, I focus on capturing genuine moments as they unfold naturally.
I take the time to get to know my couples because the more comfortable you feel, the more authentic the photos will be. You don’t have to “act natural” in front of my lens; you already are.
Most couples don’t relish being the centre of attention. They seek a wedding that feels authentic and personal, not just traditional. They care about the details but also want to relax and enjoy the day.
My best advice? Trust the process, don’t stress over minor details, and simply savour the moment. I’ll be there to capture everything—the grand moments, the quiet moments, and everything in between.
If you’re a couple who resonates with this approach, let’s grab a coffee and chat about your wedding day. I’d love to hear your story and discuss how I can help make your special day unforgettable.
