Hey there! I'm Steven, a wedding photographer based in Glasgow, at the heart of Scotland. My life has been a rollercoaster of adventures, from the quiet lanes of a small village to the bustling streets of Glasgow, and I'm excited to share my story with you. I hail from a picturesque village called Carlton, perched on the outskirts of Stockton On Tees. Growing up in Carlton was like living in a storybook—everyone knew everyone, and the community spirit was palpable. My childhood was filled with the simple joys of village life, from exploring the countryside to participating in local festivities.
Believe it or not, I started my professional journey as an IT technician. I spent my days troubleshooting computers and navigating the digital world. However, life had other plans for me. The pandemic was a turning point, a time of reflection and transformation. During this period, I embraced a new role as the Creative Pastor at Stockton Parish Church. My faith is a cornerstone of my life, guiding my decisions and inspiring my creativity.
After the pandemic, love guided me to a new chapter. I packed my bags and moved to the enchanting city of Glasgow to be with my amazing wife. Together, we have a beautiful little daughter who brings endless joy and laughter into our lives. The move to Scotland has been nothing short of magical, filled with breathtaking landscapes, friendly people, and a thriving creative scene.
Music and photography are the twin passions that fuel my soul. There's nothing quite like the thrill of capturing the raw energy of a live concert or the tender moments of a wedding. Whether I'm behind the camera or in front of a piano, creativity is my lifeblood. I love to lose myself in music, improvising on the piano for hours, or simply listening to my favourite tracks. These moments of artistic expression are where I find my true self.
When I'm not behind the lens or creating music, you'll likely find me in one of my happy places. Either sitting at a piano, the keys beneath my fingers, and the music flowing effortlessly as I improvise the night away. Or sitting on a serene beach, the soothing sound of waves, the sun dipping below the horizon, and me soaking in the tranquility with my family and friends. These are the moments that ground me and bring me pure joy.
As I continue to grow in my photography career, I'm filled with excitement for the future. I want my photos to evoke emotions, spark memories, and perhaps even inspire someone to pick up a camera or pursue their passion.
